WHAT’S OLD IS NEW AGAIN.

We’re bringing back an old favourite as part of our ongoing Tunnerman’s series of cask-conditioned ales - the Old Head Heritage English IPA.

Based on a 1901 recipe from famed Manchester brewers Boddington’s, it was brewed with a blend of English pale Maris Otter malt and Canadian pale malt barley and hopped with Pahto and Archer, and using the descendants of the very yeast strain pitched by Boddington’s over a century ago.

The result is a very pleasant citrus, earthy hop bitterness balanced over a bready malt body with a touch of sweet biscuit. Dry hopping in the fermenter with Archer adds to a crisp, refreshing finish.

Coming your way this week and available EXCLUSIVELY in freshly poured pint form from our hand-pull beer engines in the Main St. tap room or in single cans & four-packs from our retail store next door.
