Stone GOLD ’Fox
We’re thrilled to announce that we won a GOLD MEDAL at the inaugural Canada Beer Cup yesterday!
Our flagship IPA - Naked Fox - came out on top of the podium at the competition, which celebrates independently owned and operated breweries across Canada. A total of 29 breweries around BC won 46 awards at the event, with nine setting the gold standard.
It’s been a big year for our feisty little ’Fox — it also scored a silver medal in the American-Style IPA category at the 2022 Canadian Brewing Awards in Calgary.
“Each brewer at Main St. has had a hand in honing Naked Fox into what it is now,” says our Head Brewer Azlan Graves. “What started as a showcase of southern-hemisphere hops in this beer that was first brewed by Jack Bensley (now head brewer at Langley’s Farm Country Brewing) has since shifted and now uses hops like Talus, Ekuanot incognito and Pahto, which adds a bit of new-school ‘dank’ and elevates it to a whole new level.
“What really holds it together, though, is showcasing the Cascade hop in all its glory — a classic varietal that really shines through in every sip.”
Jack, by the way, saw Farm Country score TWO gold medals at the competition, so a big congrats to him and his team, too!
Naked Fox is always available on draught in our tap room and to go from our retail store next door, at select BC Liquor Stores and private outlets, bars and restaurants in your neighbeerhood.
