Agent Holly Hoppington is back in foggy London Town on a new mission: secure the secret recipe for a new Export India Porter - a dark, full-bodied brew that blends a variety of malts and English hops to conjure up notes of chocolate and coffee - and keep it out of the hands of a mysterious thief known only as ‘The Tunnerman’.

A tip from a trusted source in the ’Yard leads her to the storehouse of Sir Barclay Perkins-Whitbread. She picks the lock and stealthily descends through the shadows to a dimly lit antechamber and a lockbox housing the object of The Tunnerman’s desire, and the recipe’s repository: a sleek black statuette known as The Malt Tease Falcon.

She approaches the table, then freezes. The lock is broken. The Falcon has flown. “Allo, guv’nor,” a voice whispers from the darkness. “I believe you’re looking for this?”
