Many Hands Make Light Work

A big cheers to the team Mariner Brewing for including Main St. in the creation of a limited-edition Helping Hands Community Pilsner back that raised money for families and businesses that were hit hard and displaced by the November floods in the Fraser Valley.

Ten dollars from each four pack sold at BC Liquor Stores and private outlets throughout the Lower Mainland this past winter was earmarked for donation to the Abbotsford Community Fund’s Disaster Relief Fund. After all was said and done and the last can was sold, the Mariner crew presented the organization with a cheque for $30,577.00.

We know it might be a drop in the bucket, but we’re happy to lend our support and play a part in putting some good vibes out there these days.

The project was spearheaded by the team at Mariner Beer, and we joined with Field House Brewing to donate time, malt and yeast to the project. Other partners chipping in included Blue Meta Measurable Marketing, Summit Labels, Mile 37 Craft Canning, Parkside Brewery, Hops Connect and Good Hustle Distribution.
