Have a Wee ’Tot

Corporation Street, Birmingham.

We’re hoping the pond to the gritty streets of Birmingham with this new Tunnerman’s ‘Brummie Tot’ Table IPA - now available from the hand-pull cask engines in our tasting room and in 473-mL singles and four packs exclusively from our retail store next door.

What’s a Brummie Tot, you ask?

Brummie = Someone from Birmingham.

Tot = Brummie slang for an alcoholic drink.

All caught up?

This latest 3.9% ABV / 35 IBU beer by our head brewer Azlan Graves blends our experience brewing cask ales with our love for new world hops and hazies while still honouring traditional malts and techniques.

It uses a classic English base combining Maris Otter and Hana malts with a healthy dose of raw wheat and utilizes the historical English technique of repurposing dry hops for tank additions - in this case, a combo of Mosaic, Cascade & HBC 586 in the whirlpool with Nectaron and Talus as a dry hop.

Its aromas of pear, raspberry, soursop candy and fresh-cut hay mingle with a complex but not overwhelmingly crackery English malt character for a beer that’s truly worthy of the Tunnerman’s stamp.
